Today's ur birthday. Tis time around is unlike every past 3 years I was with u each time u blew the candles on ur birthday cake.  4 years came and went too quick; makes me both happy and sad that u r getting older. Sad because I wasn't there watching u becoming a grown up kid. Happy because I love the big boy that u've become.   U r grown up into such an awesome, caring, loving and smart boy.  Never thought u would hv become a boy who knows how to hide emotion of longing a mother to be by his side cuddling and kissing him every day. Today’s ur birthday. The difference than the second, u’re now the toddler who we can say a true thrill seeker. U always do things that make us nervous & u knew it. Pushing the boundaries; being a boy, totally fearless. About a week ago u bumped ur left eye into the edge of bed when u were jumping from bed to bed, eventho u r in pain u still have the courtesy to say thanks to the doctor and we r so proud of u, son. Days before that u said sorry to MommyDaddy for things u thought u did wrong but the truth is u hv done nothing. Alhamdulillah, keep on using these two words sayang, sorry and thanks, they don't cost a thing.  Everything we do in life, we do for u.   Today’s ur birthday. It's much different than the first, now u’re the toddler who won’t sit still. How fast things change. Things get difficult at times for us because u’re still too young to clearly say ur wants and needs, and when the tantrum strikes and overwhelm at anytime. We just give u the cold shoulder, ignore and continue on what we are doing but most of the time we take a step back and laugh. Laughter is the only way sometimes. Everything we do in life, we do for u.
